Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Erica. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I hold a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University. In my master’s program, I was involved in the Texas Wesleyan University Honor Society and graduated with a 3.90 GPA.

My clinical experience includes working in a Partial Hospitalization Program, where I provided group therapy for adolescents and adults addressing a range of concerns including low self-esteem, academic challenges, life transitions, postpartum disorders, grief, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. In the summer of 2025, I was recognized as one of the top-performing therapists in patient satisfaction, based on Trac9 outcome data from the program.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

My commitment to the counseling profession is deeply rooted in a longstanding desire to make a meaningful impact. From an early age, I have been actively involved in community service through church outreach and philanthropic initiatives during my time in college. As a wife and mother, I understand both the challenges and rewards of balancing various roles and responsibilities in daily life. I believe spirituality supports therapeutic healing by reducing stress, enhancing self-awareness, and encouraging positive coping strategies for emotional and physical challenges.

Outside of my professional work, I value being part of my church community. I also enjoy reading, painting, and spending quality time with my husband and family.

With empathy and professionalism, I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel truly heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools for lasting personal growth. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and I am honored to be part of your journey.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect to leave therapeutic sessions feeling heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, you will gain deeper insight into your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while learning practical tools to manage stress, build resilience, and improve relationships. Each session offers a safe space for personal exploration and growth, helping you clarify your goals, break through patterns that no longer serve you, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.
