Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Erica Ellis, therapist and founder of MindCare Counseling and Consulting. I have been in the field for more than a decade in one capacity or another. I’m a therapist with a passion for change work that makes a real difference in the lives of individuals I see. If you’re feeling stuck in a negative spiral dealing with past trauma, an unruly child, or anxiety & depression, I’m here to help you experience the change, relief, and lightness you’re looking for.

My approach to therapy

I have a person-centered and humorous approach to my counseling; meaning I think that the relationship between myself and my client is important to the work that we do. I also tend to be very direct and focus on solutions to help you improve symptoms as quickly as I can.

What you can expect from me

Within the first few sessions, I like to get oriented to what is going on with you, and what you would like to resolve. Once we have established that, then we both work together to establish goals and get you to the place you want to be.
