Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m Erica, an art therapist and licensed professional counselor. I obtained my masters degree in art therapy with an emphasis in counseling from Mount Mary University. Since graduating, I have worked with many individuals and groups, including but not limited to those who experience, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, trauma, developmental disorders, academic challenges, family dynamics, and attachment issues.

My approach to therapy

In my work, I incorporate my art therapy background with my creativity, holistic, and person-centered personality to drive my work with my clients, empowering the therapy space to be yours and to work together collaboratively as a team. I primarily work with children under 12, however have a wide experience working with various ages. As I continue to grow as a therapist, I hope to expand my work with infant/early childhood mental health.

What you can expect from me

During our first session together we’ll spend time getting to know each other. In our initial meeting we will create a space that feels safe for you, and I will gather information to learn about YOU and YOUR experience to see how I can best support you. Together we’ll develop a plan that works to help you or your child meet their goals. The first meeting could look like having both the child and the parent present, or just the individual.
