Great to meet you!

With over 12 years of experience in mental health, I am a Board‐Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping individuals and families find clarity, stability, and hope. My background as a psychiatric Registered Nurse shaped my understanding of the challenges people face and strengthened my commitment to providing thoughtful, patient‐centered care.

I’ve worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting children, teens, and adults through a wide range of mental‐health needs. My goal is to meet each person where they are, offer compassionate guidance, and partner with them to build a path toward emotional well‐being.

My approach to therapy

My availability during unconventional hours allows me to offer flexibility that many clients find reassuring and convenient. I understand that mental health is just as important as any other medical condition, and that perspective helps me connect naturally with the individuals and families I serve. I work collaboratively with each client to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that reflects their needs, goals, and lived experiences.

While medication can be a helpful tool during challenging periods, therapy provides essential skills for long‐term stability and growth. I draw on my clinical experience, background, and knowledge of psychopharmacology to recommend medication when appropriate. Every person brings unique strengths and challenges, and my goal is to create a holistic, person‐centered plan that supports their overall well‐being.

When medication is part of treatment, I take a conservative and thoughtful approach—starting with a low dose, increasing only when necessary, and closely monitoring progress with an open, collaborative mindset. My priority is to ensure that clients feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout their care.

What you can expect from me

During your first visit, we will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. This allows me to gather the information needed to understand your concerns, your history, and your goals. Together, we will begin building a personalized treatment plan that reflects your individual needs and preferences.

It’s important to know that the first appointment does not automatically mean medication will be prescribed. My priority is to understand your full picture before making any recommendations. If medication becomes part of your treatment plan, we will discuss it thoroughly so you feel informed and comfortable every step of the way.
