Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia with over a decade of experience working with both children and adults. My background includes supporting at-risk youth in group homes, schools, and homes, as well as working with adults with co-occurring disorders. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in General Studies with a Minor in Sociology. I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate challenges such as grief, trauma, relationship issues, and workplace conflicts.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is flexible and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, reality therapy, and gestalt therapy. After our first session, I will assess which approach or combination of approaches is most suitable for you.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to feel heard, respected, and understood- regardless of the issue at hand. Each session is designed to empower you to overcome obstacles and gain clarity, leaving you with a sense of hope and the tools to move forward.
