Great to meet you!

I studied at a school which combined Eastern & Western philosophies, and I take a holistic approach to therapy. I view people in the context of their environments and the systems in which they are embedded. I have been working with the LA LGBT Center for the past three years and love working with the LGBTQIA+ community. I also worked as a supervisor on the National Crisis Hotline (988) for many years, interned at an adult day care center for older adults with dementia, and I worked with transitional aged youth (18-25yo) who were in and out of foster care.

My approach to therapy

I take a relational, feminist approach to therapy. I love to empower my clients and motivate them to change by helping highlight their strengths & identify their values. I specialize in trans/enby issues, grief/loss, and diverse relationships (eg. ethical nonmonogamy)

What you can expect from me

During our first session we will get to know each-other and primarily focus on establishing trust. I will ask you what is bringing you into therapy, your background, and what you are hoping to gain from our sessions together. We will collaborate to tailor our sessions into an approach that works for you and your current needs. I also believe in the power of authenticity and transparency, and I am always happy to answer any questions you may have about me to help you feel safe and supported.
