Great to meet you!

I have been providing mental health services to children and families for over 18 years and have been practicing clinical mental health counseling for more than five years. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I have completed specialized training in Play Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which help inform my therapeutic approach. I work with clients across the lifespan, from children as young as three years old to adults over the age of 60.

My approach to therapy

My experience includes supporting individuals and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and emotional regulation. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to work toward their personal goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you, begin building rapport, and determine whether we are a good fit for working together. I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, so I like to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace.

We will discuss what brings you to counseling, review the counseling process, and address any questions or concerns you may have. Together, we will begin identifying your goals and what you hope to gain from therapy.

I also like to remind clients that there is no right or wrong way to participate in therapy. Everyone’s journey is unique, and I will meet you where you are. My role is to provide support, guidance, and a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
