Great to meet you!

I'm Dr. Erica Roche, a bilingual licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts with a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) degree and extensive experience working with children, adults, and families. My background in child welfare has given me a deeper understanding of the challenges individuals and families can carry, especially during times of stress, change, and uncertainty. I'm passionate about working with people from diverse backgrounds and communities, with a special connection to Hispanic and Latino clients, families, and parents. I provide culturally responsive care that honors your experiences, identity, and individual needs. Through telehealth, I support clients experiencing anxiety, PTSD, trauma, depression, and stress while creating a space where you can feel heard, understood, valued, and supported.

My approach to therapy

My work in child welfare has shaped how I show up in therapy: with patience, cultural understanding, curiosity, and respect for everything you may be carrying. I value working with people from diverse backgrounds and communities, with a special connection to Hispanic and Latino clients and families. My approach is collaborative and tailored to you. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy based on your needs and goals. Together, we can work through anxiety, PTSD, trauma, depression, and family or relationship stress while building on your strengths and developing practical tools you can use in everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to get from our work together. You can expect a warm, culturally responsive, and judgment-free conversation where you can share at a pace that feels comfortable. We'll talk about what's been happening in your life, what feels most important right now, and the strengths you already bring with you. From there, we'll begin identifying your goals and creating a plan that feels realistic and personal to you. Sessions are virtual, offering a private space where you can speak openly, ask questions, and feel heard and supported.
