Great to meet you!

I have my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities, treating both adolescents, young adults, and adults of all ages with substance use disorders, all mental health disorders, and people with multiple diagnoses.

My approach to therapy

I like to start by building a rapport, to tell you a little about myself and ask you about your life, so you can know if I am the right fit for your needs. I use humor in therapy as a way to help us find relief from feeling controlled by overwhelming emotions. I provide an open-minded and judgement free working space for you to feel your most comfortable. I treat people with unconditional positive regard. A few of the modalities I work with are ACT, DBT, CBT, and somatic therapy. I am here to help people with all mental health and substance use diagnoses. I specialize in anxiety, depression, PTSD, panic disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma informed counseling, grief and loss, disordered eating, and LGBTQIA+ issues. I work with both adolescents and adults.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I will work with you to understand both your short and long-term goals. I will ask you about who you are and what you need from your therapeutic experience. We can build an initial treatment plan together. I hope to make you feel comfortable and confident in our work together from the start.
