Great to meet you!

Congratulations! Thank you for considering me as part of your journey toward improved mental health and well-being. I am Dr. Erica Strother, DNP, a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Health and Psychiatry, and the founder of Elysian Integrative Health and Wellness Group. With over 20 years of healthcare experience, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that addresses both physical and mental health needs.

My approach is rooted in creating a warm, supportive environment where you feel truly heard, comfortable and valued. My goal is to empower you with tools and strategies that nurture resilience and promote overall well-being. I focus on developing personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based medication management and talk therapy, tailored to your unique needs.

At Elysian Integrative Health and Wellness Group, I work with adults and seniors facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, compassion fatigue, academic stress and stress related to life transitions. I am committed to guiding you toward better health and helping you achieve a balanced, fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

At Elysian Health, we believe in working together with our clients in a caring and understanding way. Our approach combines proven lifestyle changes, talk therapy, and medication management, all within a supportive environment where open communication and mutual respect are encouraged. We see our clients as the experts of their own lives and experiences, so we involve them in every step of their care. By practicing shared decision making, we ensure that each person’s values, preferences, and insights help shape their treatment plan. This not only helps clients feel more empowered and involved, but also leads to a better understanding of their individual needs. By personalizing each plan to fit the whole person, their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, we help promote resilience and emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

At Elysian Health, our ultimate goal is to create a supportive and empathetic environment where clients feel understood, comfortable, and validated. Our goal is for each session to offer practical tools and insights that enhance self-awareness and emotional well-being while addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, and the unique academic pressures faced by college and graduate students. Through our collaborative work, clients develop greater resilience, a clearer sense of direction, and a deeper understanding of their personal strengths and goals, leaving each session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful
