Great to meet you!

Hello! Woof! Squeak!

**If you are interested in scheduling, please message me to first schedule a brief phone call. I cannot accommodate direct booking for first meetings.

I partner with therapy animals and encourage creativity in sessions to create a comforting space where we can focus on what's important to you. At Animal Assisted Counseling of Colorado, we use evidence-based approaches and, if it feels right to you, encourage interactions with animals to support your journey through challenges and toward resilience.

More about me: I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Colorado, 2021) and hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work (Silberman School of Social Work, 2017) and a Master’s degree in Public Health (CUNY, 2012). I also have specialized training in child trauma treatment.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic and culture-centered. I draw from attachment, developmental, somatic, ecological, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral perspectives to provide an individualized therapy experience. At Animal Assisted Counseling of Colorado, I also parter with therapy animals to enrich the therapy process. Together, we can explore ways to find what you need, enhance your self-knowledge, gain new skills and find strength in resilience.

What you can expect from me

**If you are interested in scheduling, please message me to first schedule a brief phone call. I cannot accommodate direct booking for first meetings.

You can expect a comfortable, home-like environment with sights and sounds of therapy animals including dogs, guinea pigs, rats and a bearded dragon. Although interacting with the animals is optional, the animals love to welcome you!
