Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 4 years of experience, I support adults through some of life's most challenging and transformative moments. My background in hospice and end-of-life care has given me the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families facing grief, chronic illness, caregiver stress, and major life transitions. These experiences have reinforced my belief that while we cannot change the past, we can change how we understand it, respond to it, and move forward.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe therapy isn't about fixing who you are—it's about helping you recognize your strengths, gain new perspectives, and create meaningful change. Together, we'll build practical tools that help you navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and hope.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, stress, caregiver concerns, chronic health conditions, and life transitions. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based interventions, tailoring therapy to your unique needs and goals.

My philosophy is simple: your past explains you, but it does not define you. Healing begins by acknowledging your story, recognizing the strengths you already possess, and believing that meaningful change is possible. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you create a life that feels more grounded, authentic, and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a partnership. My role isn't to tell you who you should become—it's to walk alongside you as you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and create meaningful change.

Life's experiences shape us, but they don't have to define us. Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, caregiving responsibilities, chronic illness, or a major life transition, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered without judgment.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based. I integrate evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, and strengths-based interventions. Rather than applying the same approach to everyone, I tailor therapy to your individual goals, values, and experiences.

Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, discover new perspectives, and build practical tools that support lasting growth. I believe healing isn't about becoming someone different—it's about reconnecting with the person you've always been beneath life's challenges.

Your past explains you. It does not define you.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's completely normal to feel nervous or unsure about what to expect. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can simply be yourself.

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brought you to therapy. I'll want to learn about your experiences, current challenges, strengths, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Together, we'll begin identifying your goals and creating a plan that is tailored to your unique needs. My approach is collaborative, meaning we'll work as a team to help you gain new perspectives, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that support meaningful, lasting change.

Most importantly, I hope you leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the journey ahead.
