Great to meet you!

I am a clinical psychologist driven by a deep sense of empathy and a genuine curiosity about human behavior and the motivations that shape our lives. I strive to create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood without judgment. My approach is grounded in authenticity, both in how I show up and in how I support others in reconnecting with their own genuine selves. I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding, and I am committed to walking alongside each person as they explore their experiences, build insight, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.

My approach to therapy

I take a structured, evidence-based approach to working with clients, beginning with a comprehensive assessment that incorporates a biopsychosocial perspective to understand their history, current symptoms, and broader life context. From this, I develop an accurate diagnosis and collaborate with clients to create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans. My work primarily emphasizes psychotherapy rather than medication, focusing on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and supporting meaningful behavioral and emotional change. I integrate empirically supported modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Family Therapy, tailoring interventions to each client’s needs. Throughout treatment, I actively monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure care remains effective, responsive, and aligned with clients’ goals.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, my primary goal as a psychologist is to build rapport by creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where the client feels comfortable. I explain confidentiality and relevant policies, including its limits, to ensure the client understands their rights and the structure of therapy. I gather important information about the client’s concerns, background, and current functioning to develop an initial understanding of their needs. Together, we begin setting initial goals while discussing realistic expectations for the therapeutic process and timeline, emphasizing that progress takes time and consistency. I also evaluate the overall fit to ensure that the client feels comfortable with me and that my approach aligns with their needs.
