Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist trained in somatic psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies. I work with individuals, couples, and men, supporting clients with anxiety (including social anxiety), depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. I also help people navigating loneliness, work-related stress, and cultural or identity-related experiences, including multiracial relationships. My goal is to help people better understand themselves, their patterns, and how they relate to others. I tend to be warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative, while also being direct when it’s helpful.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is intuitive and highly personalized, meeting each client where they are. I draw from somatic therapy, Gestalt, parts work, family systems, and EMDR to help clients build awareness, process emotions, and understand their patterns more deeply. I create a warm, supportive space while also encouraging clients to actively engage in their growth and move toward a more alive, authentic way of being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my main focus is helping you feel comfortable and getting to know you at your own pace. We’ll likely start with a natural conversation to break the ice, and I’ll ask questions to better understand what’s bringing you in, what’s worked (or hasn’t) in the past, and what you’re hoping for moving forward. I tend to be very engaged and curious, using active listening to make sure I’m really understanding your experience. From there, we’ll begin to identify goals and get a sense of what direction therapy might take, while also checking in about whether it feels like a good fit. I offer both virtual sessions and in-person sessions in Oakland, California for those who prefer to meet in my office.
