Great to meet you!

I'm Erika Acosta, a Board-Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Life Coach, and Yoga Instructor. I specialize in helping those with anxiety, depression, and ADHD. My approach combines evidence-based therapies with yoga and Ayurveda, promoting a body and mind healing balance. My personal journey has shaped my focus. I've worked in clinical, school, and private settings, earned a Master's in Psychology from FIU and an Int'l Yoga Certification in India, blending mental health and holistic practices.

My approach to therapy

My intake process involves exploring your current symptoms and creating a personalized plan to address the most significant challenges. Progress is measured by your ability to understand and recognize your symptoms, while learning strategies to cope with them. I work with individuals of all ages, including children (6-12), adolescents, and adults. Additionally, I am fluent in Spanish, which allows me to connect with a broader range of clients and provide culturally sensitive care.

What you can expect from me

I offer online and in-person sessions, meeting clients outdoors in nature (parks, beach) to teach coping skills, grounding techniques, mindful practices, and replacing self-sabotaging behaviors with problem-solving skills. My goal is to help you become the most authentic version of yourself, empowering you to manage symptoms and live a healthier, more fulfilling life. Together, we'll work toward a peaceful, genuine life, nurturing your well-being and growth.
