Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Erika Brinda. I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 14 years of professional work experience. I earned my master's degree at USC in 2009. I love being a therapist and I appreciate the work that I do. I enjoy working with a diverse population and practice therapy with cultural humility. I have experience with treating depression, anxiety/panic disorders, trauma, sleep issues, adjustment disorders, divorce and family stressors, and mood disorders.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy using a variety of theoretical approaches and prefer to meet the needs and preferences of my clients. I have found Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to be very effective, result-focused treatment models.

What you can expect from me

I try to ensure that each of my clients leave every session feeling heard, understood and respected. I like to ask my clients for direct feedback about their experience in therapy and use this feedback to make adjustments in future sessions. I want my clients to feel confident that we are aligned on how we are approaching their concerns.
