Great to meet you!

I accept some insurances through Headway or private pay. I offer a brief 15–20 minute phone or video consultation to assess fit. If you are having trouble setting up a consultation or appointment through the Headway website (or would like to do private pay), Please contact me directly at (720) 287-6067 or [email protected].

I’m a licensed psychologist (Psy.D.) with over 23 years of clinical experience, and I work with adults facing anxiety, perfectionism, life transitions, chronic stress, grief, and complex family dynamics. I earned my doctorate from Pacific University and completed advanced clinical training through the Northwest Georgia Consortium.

In addition to providing therapy, I’ve served as a clinical supervisor and team lead, which has shaped a grounded, thoughtful approach to care. Clients often tell me they appreciate my directness, compassion, and ability to make complicated emotional patterns easier to understand. My style is warm, collaborative, and practical; I help you make sense of what’s happening and move toward real, sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is principle-driven and integrates evidence-based models including CBT, ACT, DBT concepts, solution-focused strategies, and interpersonal/relational work. I focus on helping clients understand the “why” behind their patterns, build healthier coping skills, and move toward clarity and stability.

Therapy with me is active and collaborative, we look at both the underlying beliefs driving your reactions and the concrete skills you need day-to-day. I balance insight-oriented work with practical tools so you leave sessions with something useful, not just something to think about.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll focus on getting to know you; your concerns, your history, and what brought you to therapy right now. We’ll talk about what’s been most difficult lately, what you’d like to change, and what feels most important for us to address together. I’ll help you clarify goals if you’re not sure where to start.

You can expect a collaborative conversation where we work together as a team. My role is to listen, help you feel grounded, and begin making sense of what you’re experiencing. By the end of the first session, you’ll have a clearer sense of how we might work together, the initial direction of treatment, and what support and structure you can expect moving forward.
