Great to meet you!

As a Clinical Social Worker, I greatly value the importance of developing genuine therapeutic rapport with clients so that together we can work towards creating meaningful goals while identifying self-defeating tendencies that can often impede progress. The human mind is complex and every individual’s life experiences have helped shape them to become the person they are today.

My approach to therapy

My approach is humanistic and insight driven, adapting evidence based models to meet each client's specific needs and preferences. Therapy is team work and I consider myself a partner in my Client's journey towards improving their mental health. I value the courage and resiliency that can be nurtured when dealing with grief and loss and overcoming personal trauma and mental health issues.

What you can expect from me

It is my responsibility and duty as a mental health clinician to try and understand my clients as the people they are and not just label them with the problems, challenges and diagnosis they may be struggling with. As a Social Worker, I empower Client's by supporting their ability to overcome life's challenges so that they may thrive in their personal pursuits by gaining insight and developing the skills needed to grow and improve their Psycho-social functioning.
