Great to meet you!

As a highly curious person, I've always wanted to understand people and how they make decisions. I feel as though the journey towards becoming a therapist was a natural consequence of these traits. Even after 10+ years in the field, I am interested in continuing to learn and embrace people of all backgrounds and use the stories my clients tell me to help guide them to an improved lifestyle.

My approach to therapy

My practice is firmly rooted in the therapeutic relationship and using empathy as an evidence-based tool. I am trained in trauma and attachment work for individuals and families. I have a background in Structural Family Therapy and family systems work. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults who are transitioning into adulthood.

What you can expect from me

My practice focuses not on fixing the problem but helping people to figure out how to establish their own problem-solving strategies. I can be direct when appropriate but am interested in helping people to make choices on how to incorporate evidence-based strategies into their lifestyles. You can expect warmth, empathy, insight, and acceptance about whatever it is you bring into the therapy space.
