Great to meet you!

Thank you taking the time to read my profile! Taking a step forward in finding a therapy provider who is a good fit can feel like you're looking for a needle in a haystack. From our first meeting, I do my best to listen to your needs in a non-judgmental manner. Clients often tell me they feel welcomed, supported and that I am easy to talk with from the first session forward.

I have spent over 28 years in the healthcare field, earned a Ph.D. and worked as a licensed psychologist for 19 years, I welcome clients new to therapy and those returning for a tune-up. Currently I only see adults for individual therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative. My inclusive, welcoming and warm approach helps set the tone for us to work together. We will work as a team to address the areas of life that are challenging you right now. Usually folks feel they would benefit from therapy support because they don't feel like their best selves. Maybe you're not showing up as the person you know yourself to be as a result of stress in life, job worries, a role transition, a loss, or a combination of factors.

I value being a culturally informed psychologist who is always learning how to best serve my clients and understand their personalized needs.

What you can expect from me

Perhaps you are struggling with sadness, worry, not sleeping well, doing poorly at work, or need support to help solve a relationship challenge. All of these are good reasons to seek therapy! Attending therapy is not a forever journey. Often small steps and changes can have big, lasting results.

The first session will involve a mix of information gathering by me, you sharing the reasons for seeking therapy support, and together planning next steps for your therapy journey. I offer office-based therapy and telehealth visits.
