Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a passion for helping individuals heal, grow, and reconnect with their sense of self. I earned my graduate degree from Pepperdine University and have extensive experience working with trauma.

My approach to therapy is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and attachment-based work. I believe many of our present-day struggles are shaped by early relational experiences, and I work collaboratively with clients to explore and heal those underlying wounds. Through this process, clients are able to develop greater self-awareness, build healthier relationships, and create lasting emotional change.

I am deeply committed to helping my clients develop a genuine sense of self-love and acceptance. Many people come into therapy feeling disconnected from parts of themselves. I believe healing is not about “fixing” yourself, but about learning how to understand, accept, and integrate all parts of who you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is active, direct, and collaborative. I work closely with clients to identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, particularly in the areas of relationships, emotional regulation, and self-worth. I have extensive experience working with individuals who experience intense emotions, including those with borderline personality traits, and I focus on helping clients build insight, increase distress tolerance, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. While I provide compassion and support, I also believe in gently challenging clients when needed through encouraging accountability, growth, and meaningful change. Therapy with me is a supportive space where you can safely process your experiences, strengthen your emotional resilience, and your overall sense of self.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive and structured space where we can get to know each other. I will ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. This initial session is also an opportunity for you to get a feel for my style, ask questions, and share at your own pace. There is no pressure to disclose everything all at once. While I take time to understand your experiences, I also begin identifying patterns and areas of focus so we can start creating meaningful direction early on. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, grounded, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together moving forward.
