Great to meet you!

I am a licensed bilingual therapist who supports individuals struggling with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I place a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care and work collaboratively with clients, meeting them where they are in their healing journey. I have experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking, as well as college-aged students navigating early adulthood. I am trained in EMDR, TIR, and ERP, and I tailor these approaches to each client’s unique needs. I have also presented at local, state, and national conferences on mental health and trauma-related topics.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I believe that clients are the experts of their own experiences, and I work to create a safe, supportive space where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered. I meet clients where they are in their healing journey and tailor treatment to their unique needs, goals, and cultural background. While I work with a range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions, my work is grounded in an understanding of how trauma can impact emotional, relational, and physical well-being. I utilize evidence-based practices, including EMDR, TIR, and ERP, integrating these approaches thoughtfully and at a pace that feels manageable and supportive. My goal is to help clients build insight, develop effective coping skills, and move toward healing, resilience, and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of safety and trust. We will spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I will also ask questions about your background, personal history, and any past experiences with therapy, moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. This session is not about sharing everything all at once; rather, it is about understanding where you are in your healing journey. I will explain my approach to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and collaborate with you to identify initial goals for treatment. Together, we will begin creating a plan that supports your needs while honoring your strengths, boundaries, and readiness for change.
