Great to meet you!

I grew up in NYC, attended Fordham University where I obtained my Social Work Degree in 1996. For the past 30 years, I have dedicated my life to guiding individuals through the complexities of personal growth, interpersonal relationships, and loss. My experience spans life transitions, illness, end -of-life issues, hospice and bereavement. I have extensive experience working with the geriatric population and their families as they navigate end of life challenges, as well as providing individual counseling to support clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and issues related to self-esteem and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

With a deep understanding of the roles we play in our life stories, I will help you recognize and embrace your inner truths and address your "soul injuries" that can lead to unhealthy behaviors and choices. We will work together to break cycles that no longer serve you, build greater self-awareness and insight. By utilizing a CBT modality we will collaborate to identify thought distortions that impede upon personal growth and well-being, while developing healthier, more balanced patterns of thinking and behavior.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming space to share what brings them to therapy at their own pace. I'll take time to learn about your background, current challenges, and goals for treatment. Together, we'll begin identifying patterns-both internal and external that may be impacting your well-being and outline an individualized plan to support your growth and healing.
