Great to meet you!

“Thanks to impermanence, everything is possible.” — Thich Nhat Hanh

Change can feel overwhelming, especially when we’ve learned to fear uncertainty or lack the tools to navigate life transitions in healthy ways. Yet change is also the foundation for growth, healing, and new possibilities.

As a licensed psychologist, I help individuals, couples and adult families navigate change and improve physical and emotional health with greater ease by developing self-compassion, emotional resilience, and meaningful relationships.

My work focuses on personal wellness, values-based living, and helping clients stay grounded and true to themselves while creating fulfilling, purpose-driven lives.

I offer evidence-based therapy for adults seeking support with life transitions, medical challenges, stress, relationships, and personal growth.

Some evening and weekend appointments are available.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based behavioral therapy proven effective for anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. In therapy, we’ll identify the root causes of distress and mental health symptoms, clarify your personal values, and develop actionable, values-driven behaviors that help you move toward the life you want—even in the presence of unwanted thoughts, emotions, or experiences.

My therapeutic approach is honest, collaborative, and direct. I often use humor, metaphor, and experiential exercises to support insight, emotional growth, and meaningful change. Together, we’ll create practical, evidence-based strategies to reduce symptoms, build resilience, and help you meet your personal and mental health goals.

What you can expect from me

During your FREE consultation, we’ll determine whether my approach is the right fit for your current mental health needs. If I’m not the best provider, I’ll gladly offer referrals and additional resources to support you. If we decide to move forward, we’ll schedule an initial therapy assessment.

The initial assessment session is a 60-minute appointment focused on understanding your personal history, current concerns, and mental health goals. We’ll review potential diagnoses (when appropriate), discuss an individualized treatment plan, and determine a therapy schedule—typically weekly sessions. In some cases, a second assessment session may be recommended to ensure comprehensive and effective care.
