Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm a licensed clinical social worker open to working with folks who are looking for a warm, humorous, and open space to meet you where you are at in life. I’m here to support clients with various life experiences, including those who may identify as 1st-gen, 2nd-gen, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, child of immigrant parents, and migrants. I identify as cis, 1st-gen, child of immigrant parents, mixed race, Mexican-American, and Latina

My approach to therapy

My approach is client centered, relational, and collaborative. I welcome you to explore your strengths, and take charge in your care. I welcome all who bring in past therapy experiences, and those who are new to therapy. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to best support you and your present needs. I typically work with folks who have formal and informal diagnoses of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders.

For children and adolescents, I use a combination of play therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy approaches to help clients identify and express their feelings.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to collaborate with their care, identify strengths, realistic coping tools to support your needs, and engage in a safe and transparent therapeutic relationship.
