Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia and Colorado and have been working in the field for over 20 years. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University. My counseling experience began working with women who were experiencing addiction, homelessness, depression, relationship issues, parenting issues, codependency, and trauma. Since then, I have gained more knowledge and experience with treating those with anxiety, ADHD, career and communication issues.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is welcoming, honest and concerned, I understand the importance of assuring client's are comfortable in sharing their experiences and struggles. I pride myself in my ability to connect immediately with most people. The typical approach is from a cognitive behavioral standpoint while understanding every client isn't the same and tailoring my approach to meet the needs of the client. I am a mental health advocate and believe 'there is no health without mental health'.

What you can expect from me

After rapport is established - goals are orchestrated by the client and outcomes are based on the client's willingness to dig in and do the work. I create an open, honest and encouraging therapeutic environment.
