Great to meet you!

During my time as a clinical social worker, I've treated individuals with many different ages, cultures, and mental health diagnoses. My current area of expertise is depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, faith transitions, body-image challenges, women’s issues, and adjustment disorders. I believe that many of life’s challenges can be relieved through connecting with the right therapist.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is accepting and strength-based. I believe that everyone is trying to navigate life in the best way that they know how, and that humans crave meaningful connection. I will give you permission to feel and accept all emotions, helpful and unhelpful. It is possible to experience painful emotions and relief at the same time. I use a combination of CBT, Attachment Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness practice to guide treatment in a way that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

I use motivational interviewing to help identify what you want to get out of therapy so that you leave the session feeling like you are in control, and I am simply the guide. I also utilize mindfulness exercises in session to help regulate difficult emotions to create a sense of safety.
