Great to meet you!

Hello and thank you for your interest! My name is Erin Appell, LCSW and I have been practicing since graduating from the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work in 2016.

My approach to therapy

I take a trauma-informed approach to help people with a variety of challenges, including but not limited to mood disorders, life transitions, grief, relationships, and people who are looking to build insight into themselves. I utilize a variety of approaches including elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavior therapy, mindfulness, attachment based therapy, and internal family systems.

What you can expect from me

I aim to make sessions feel natural and easy, like breathing. My clients can expect to feel empowered and have more control over their own lives. I look forward to meeting with you!
