Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have worked in both the social work and mental health space for ten years. I work with individuals navigating life transitions, difficult seasons, feeling "stuck," anxiety, stress, relationship concerns, and the lasting effects of trauma. As a military spouse, I have a personal appreciation for the unique challenges that come with change, uncertainty, relocation, and adapting to new chapters in life.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel comfortable exploring life's challenges and discovering new paths forward. I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and, when appropriate, a sense of humor—because healing often happens when we can be both honest and human.

My therapeutic approach is goal-oriented and tailored to each client's needs. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients better understand patterns, develop practical coping strategies, process difficult experiences, and move toward meaningful change. Whether you're working through a current challenge or addressing past experiences that continue to impact your present, I believe therapy can provide an opportunity for growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's natural to feel a little nervous. In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you and understanding what has brought you to therapy. We'll talk about your current concerns, discuss relevant aspects of your personal history, and explore what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process.

This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what's important to you, and get a sense of whether we're a good fit. Together, we'll begin identifying goals and creating a plan that feels meaningful and achievable. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work ahead.
