Great to meet you!

I am a passionate Clinical Social Worker with over 5 years of experience supporting both adolescents and parents in a variety of hospital and community settings. Throughout my experience I have learned about the role stress and anxiety can play in everyday life. My goal as a therapist is to assist you in finding ways to manage those stressors and live your life the way you envision. I typically focus on working with adolescents or young adults aged 15-45.

My approach to therapy

I believe in the power of words, so typically I will utilize therapy approaches that will target just that. I have experience with various cognitive approaches that can be applied to several possible concerns including self-esteem, family concerns, daily stress or anxiety, etc. My main therapy approaches include Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, the main goal is to establish an understanding of what you hope to gain from therapy. We will explore relevant histories and set goals for therapy. It is important to know that therapy is a collaborative process, so we will work together to develop a plan to best reach your goals.
