Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters from the Kutztown University and have been practicing since 2019. I have worked in various settings, including private practice and community mental health in the Mental Health, Intensive Outpatient (group), and Drug and Alcohol Programs . My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment to build rapport, collaborate, and achieve your recovery goals.

My approach to therapy

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all interrelated. By exploring and increasing awareness of how this connection affects our lives, we feel empowered to grow and make the changes we want. Part of this is by identifying any unhelpful thinking habits and identifying ways that are more beneficial.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Unconditional positive regard, genuineness, and understanding are important to a good therapeutic relationship. By allowing the client to address what they want/need to and providing a space where they feel heard, clients can clients can feel more empowered to do what they need. All of this can motivate the client to move towards growth.

What you can expect from me

I create a safe and nonjudgmental environment that encourages trust and openness so that clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I provide personalized treatment based on my clients' goals, preferences, and needs. I encourage open, honest communication from clients so that they can get their goals met. By discussing goals, we can collaborate on the best approach to take and make changes as needed. I take time to recognize and encourage my clients when they are able to recognize their progress and successes.
