Great to meet you!

“My clients should know that I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to delivering high-quality care. I’m direct in my approach—no sugarcoating, just clarity—and I incorporate humor to help make even challenging moments feel more comfortable and human.”

My approach to therapy

“I’m a licensed professional counselor, with experience working in private practice, community mental health, hospitals, and residential treatment facilities. Clinically, I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I’ve worked extensively with first responders and veterans, providing culturally informed, trauma-aware support that respects the unique demands of their work and lived experiences. I also serve all populations from age 13 and up, Clients should know that I’m direct in my communication—honest, clear, and straightforward. I also incorporate humor into my care because therapy should feel human, not clinical or cold. My goal is to create a space where people feel understood, supported, and safe enough to show up as themselves.”

What you can expect from me

“In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, straightforward conversation focused on understanding what brings them in and what they hope to change. I’ll ask about your history, current concerns, and goals so I can tailor treatment to your needs. I’m direct, but always supportive, and I use humor when it helps us break the ice or make tough topics feel more manageable. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clear sense of my approach and what our work together will look like.”
