Great to meet you!

Are you looking for a nurturing environment in which to explore your story and build on your strengths? My mission is to motivate and help empower you to make health centered, positive changes in your life while utilizing an eclectic approach including Psychodynamic, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other treatment modalities. I encourage people to thoughtfully reflect, actively stay present, and carefully move forward.

My approach to therapy

I am a psychotherapist with experience in both private practice and working with nonprofit organizations. In recent years, my practice has evolved to focus not only on mental health alone, but how social determinants such as medical ailments and trauma from the pandemic have impacted our daily lives.

What you can expect from me

Simply put: this is your time and not mine. I want to know how the process is going for you and am open to feedback. I do not know it all by any means and want to grow with you. If a past therapist shared a technique that worked for you? Awesome, we can incorporate it. If you hate receiving homework? We will get rid of it. I want to walk along side of you through your journey, not force you down a specific path.
