Great to meet you!

My goal as your therapist is to be able to help you move through the difficulties that you are facing. I strive to be someone who is non-judgemental and caring throughout every interaction. I enjoy working with clients who have various backgrouds and experiences, including mental health and substance abuse. I have worked in a psychiatric hosptial as well as a recovery center, where recovery and progress were the main goals. I have gained a lot of real-life experiences and learned a lot of lessons from the clients that I have had the pleasure to interact with. I believe that all clients have knowledge to be shared with me.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy building rapport with clients and being able to play a role in their lives. Being Person-Centered, the rapport and therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect to me. I encourage, support, challenge, and guide clients through their most difficult times, while also offerning empathy and active listening.

What you can expect from me

We will work together to collaborate on your own personalized and invidiualized goals for growth. I strive to be non-judgemental, affirming, open-minded, and fully engaged during our session. I ask clients to be honest with me how I can best support them- whether that is being direct and straightforward or taking a more guiding and encouraging approach.
