Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor (LMFT-S), and hold a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. For more than a decade, I've worked with individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, PTSD, and stress. I am EMDR Certified and have extensive experience helping clients process difficult experiences, reduce emotional distress, and build lasting resilience.

I believe healing looks different for everyone. I work to understand your unique experiences, values, and strengths so we can create an approach that feels authentic and meaningful to you.

Whether you're struggling with overwhelming anxiety, recovering from trauma, navigating relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, we'll work together to identify practical tools and meaningful insights that help you move toward the life you want.

Healing doesn't require perfection—it begins with taking the first step.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate evidence-based therapies—including EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness—while recognizing that every person's story is different. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to define what healing means for them.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and that's completely okay. During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and identifying what you hope to achieve. We'll review informed consent and I'll ask some questions to better understand your background, but you are always in control of what you choose to share. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can move at your own pace and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship.
