Great to meet you!

People often describe me as accepting, empathetic, and real — with a sense of humor that helps therapy feel approachable and genuine. My goal is to create a space where you feel both supported and challenged as you work toward your goals My approach blends humor, honesty, and evidence-based strategies to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns (like cognitive distortions) and promote self-acceptance. Whether you’re hoping to manage stress, improve relationships, or reconnect with your sense of worth, I offer a safe, affirming space to do meaningful work — and maybe even share a laugh along the way.

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker, and I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, relationship issues, and life transitions. I have a special passion for supporting men’s issues, women’s issues, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. No matter who you are or what you’re facing, I aim to help you uncover your strengths and build confidence in your authentic self.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, my goal is to offer both support and gentle challenge as you move toward greater self-understanding and fulfillment. I bring humor, honesty, and practical, evidence-based strategies to help you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns while deepening self-acceptance. Whether you’re looking to manage stress, strengthen relationships, or reconnect with yourself, I strive to make therapy a space for meaningful—and even enjoyable—growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll discuss concerns bringing you to therapy, and identify what you'd like to change. These can evolve as we work together, but they'll provide us a solid starting point.

I'll begin by getting to you know, and you can ask any questions you have of me as we work to build a comfortable, therapeutic relationship.
