Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Erin (she/her), a Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist with over nine years of experience supporting adults through trauma recovery, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, and life transitions. I hold a Master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Columbia College Chicago, and I’ve worked in a wide range of clinical settings—from inpatient psychiatric hospitals to outpatient programs and private practice.

My approach to therapy

My approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that your body holds important information about what you’ve been through—and where healing can begin. I use body-based (somatic) and mindfulness-centered tools to help you understand your nervous system, reconnect with your emotions, and build trust in your own internal guidance.

You won’t find judgment or pressure here. Instead, I’ll meet you where you are, with curiosity and compassion. Whether you're learning to manage anxiety, unpack trauma, or just trying to feel more like yourself again, I tailor each session to support your unique needs, strengths, and pace. While movement is a resource in my work, no dance experience is ever required—just a willingness to notice what's happening in your body and emotions.

What you can expect from me

Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling more grounded, self-aware, and connected to their inner resilience. We’ll work together to create a space where you feel safe to be honest, explore big emotions, and practice nervous system regulation skills that help you stay steady—even in the hard moments.

Over time, you can expect to build confidence in your ability to feel your feelings without being overwhelmed by them. My goal is to help you feel more present in your life, more in tune with your body, and more empowered to make choices that align with who you are and what matters to you.
