Great to meet you!

I have my MA in Counseling from Kean University in NJ. I started my career in 2007 as a tech and in 2023 I opened my private practice. My focus is working with trauma and co-occurring symptoms. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Certified Integrated Mental Health Professional.

My approach to therapy

I am a certified EMDR provider, helping people reprocess and release trauma at the root. I am also offering neurofeedback now. I want my clients to engage in a holistic approach to wellness. We will work mostly on the emotional component in sessions, but I strongly encourage physical and spiritual fitness as well. I want my clients to value nutrition, sleep, and exercise as well as draw strength from their own spiritual beliefs and practices, whatever that looks like for them. All aspects of the person's health are important.

What you can expect from me

Trauma therapy is a pain in the ass. It is hard and extremely uncomfortable. You might feel anger, sadness, grief, disappointment, or any number of a million other emotions. It sucks. But so does continuing to carry around unresolved trauma that is poisoning you. I work with people who are survivors and warriors and who refuse to let their past define them. They are not looking for a soft-spoken counselor who sugar-coats things. They appreciate direct communication, humor in therapy, and are not offended by F bombs. You matter. Your story matters. Who you are beyond the trauma matters. There is no judgment here, just deep respect for what you have been through and your courage to face it.
