Great to meet you!
Hello, and welcome. I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care that supports the whole person. My approach focuses on the connection between mental and physical health, helping patients better understand how emotional well-being, medical conditions, lifestyle, and overall wellness work together in treatment and recovery.
I completed my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner education at Maryville University and also hold a Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Millersville University. In addition to my psychiatric training, I bring more than 10 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner working in emergency room and urgent care settings. This medical background allows me to offer a broader understanding of how physical health conditions, stress, sleep, chronic illness, and other medical factors can impact mental health.
I also have experience working in outpatient addiction treatment facilities, supporting individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. My background in emergency and urgent care medicine has also given me valuable insight into the unique stressors faced by healthcare professionals and first responders, allowing me to provide informed, compassionate support to individuals working in high-demand environments.
