Great to meet you!

My career as a therapist started in 2015, working with families impacted by trauma, abuse, and child protective systems. While I have worked with a variety of ages and populations, most of my background and training focuses on treating trauma. Across different theoretical perspectives and training models, I have noticed that the story we tell ourselves about our lives and our world shape how we interact with our surroundings. Making sense about what happened in the past, and what is happening in the present, allows for clarity in how to move forward into the future. I would be honored to hear your story and walk with you on your path!

My approach to therapy

Making sense of our feelings, needs, and stories helps guide us toward showing up intentionally for our lives. I incorporate mindfulness, journaling exercises, and creative self-expression into session work. Finding out what works and what doesn't is part of the process.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will review background information on you, your family context, and previous treatment history. You are free to ask any questions you may have about me, my approach to therapy, or any random questions about treatment you may have. Once we have a clear picture of the clinical issues you want to work on, we will develop a treatment plan together and move forward from there.
