Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate it alone. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed by anxiety, or simply looking to make a meaningful change in your life, my goal is to provide a warm, judgment-free space where we can figure it out together.

Therapy with me is an active partnership. I bring clinical expertise and evidence-based tools, but you are the expert on your own life. We will work at a pace that feels right for you, balancing deep self-reflection with practical, solution-focused steps.

I frequently help clients navigate:

  • Anxiety and worry
  • Depression and low mood
  • Stress management and burnout
  • Life transitions (career changes, relationships, graduation)
  • Self-esteem and perfectionism

My Background: I earned my PhD in School Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel and have spent the last 15 years helping children, adolescents, and adults build more fulfilling, balanced lives.

Finding the right therapist is all about the right "fit." I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to chat about what you're looking for and see if we’d work well together. Reach out today—I look forward to connecting with you!

My approach to therapy

As a doctoral-level psychologist, I specialize in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). While that might sound a bit clinical, the approach is actually highly collaborative and practical. Together, we’ll look at the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions. We will work to identify the unhelpful patterns that are holding you back and build a personalized toolkit of actionable strategies you can use in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

I want you to walk away from your first session feeling understood and optimistic for the future. You'll share your story, your reasons for seeking therapy, and your goals for our work together. I'll ask questions to make sure I have a deep and accurate understanding of your situation, and I'll share how I think I can help.
