Great to meet you!

My journey in mental health began in 2009 when I took a course titled, "Art, Medicine, and Disabilities" during my undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley. In 2012 I pursued my dreams of earning a Master’s of Mental Health in Art Psychotherapy from the University of Queensland, School of Medicine in Australia. Now, I am a dual-licensed clinician in California and Utah (CMHC, LPCC) serving individual adults and youth. I am a well versed therapist with over a decade of experience working with diverse populations, individual adults, teens, and seniors. I specialize in a psychodynamic approach that is tailored to each unique individual, fostering a safe and supportive environment for self-exploration and growth.

My approach to therapy

I integrate a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (C-DBT), art therapy, and mindfulness techniques. My collaborative and culturally informed approach empowers clients to gain insight into their behaviors, navigate difficult emotions, and cultivate a strong sense of self.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to gain deeper self-awareness, practical coping strategies, and a greater sense of emotional clarity from sessions with me. My approach is tailored to each individual, helping them process unexamined experiences, navigate difficult emotions, and develop meaningful insights into their behaviors. Through a psychodynamic lens, I guide clients in uncovering patterns that may be impacting their well-being, while incorporating evidence-based techniques like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness. Clients often leave sessions feeling more equipped to manage life’s challenges, empowered to make meaningful changes, and supported in their personal growth journey.
