Great to meet you!

Whether you’re navigating a tough life transition, experiencing fertility challenges, expecting, grieving, recovering from birthing trauma, or working through postpartum emotions, I’m here to meet you exactly where you are.

As a therapist and a mother of three children—ages 22, 20, and 16—I understand how intense and joyful as well as overwhelming and difficult the prenatal and postpartum periods are for both physical and mental health. I also know firsthand that being a mother is one of the hardest (and most rewarding) jobs you’ll ever have!

I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan, including adolescents, adults, survivors of domestic violence, and those navigating anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—and tailor our work together to meet your unique needs. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Every person’s story and situation is unique, and my goal is to help you navigate yours with compassion and individualized support.

When I’m not working, I love being outside in nature, walking, discussing a really good book with friends, and spending time with my family and pets (Nigel the cat and Pippin the Dog!) I thrive on coffee, humor and authenticity. My Bucket list includes but is not limited to seeing a filming of the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and/or SNL.

My approach to therapy

I like to show up as authentically as possible. I believe we develop mental health challenges because of what we have experienced & learned throughout life in order to survive - and you're here today, so it has been working, but maybe it isn't working well anymore. My role is to gently challenge you and encourage new ways of thinking that promote growth, healing, and well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know one another so you can begin to feel safe and comfortable sharing your story. I view the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for all meaningful work, so my focus will be on creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and begin identifying the goals and pace that feel right for you. My goal is for you to leave the first session with a sense of connection, understanding, and hope that this is a space where you can truly be yourself.
