Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 8+ years of experience in the mental health field. I have a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University and a bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from the University of Connecticut. I utilize a goal-oriented, strengths based approach to help clients cope with change, stress, worry, hopelessness, and symptoms of trauma, anxiety, and depression.

My approach to therapy

I provide a safe and non-judgmental space where we can explore what is going on in your life and work together to determine how to move forward. My treatment approach is tailored to each client's needs and includes techniques and strategies from various evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness therapy, and Solution-focused Brief Therapy. I am happy to meet with you to help identify issues, problem solve, develop strengths, and provide support.

What you can expect from me

We will work together to set personalized, attainable goals for your needs. My goal is for you to feel comfortable with the process of therapy, and to feel acknowledged and understood. I will create a safe environment for you to share your experiences and take meaningful action that will help you to make positive changes in your life. I aim to help you gain self-awareness and clarity and to provide you with strategies and techniques to build on your strengths to foster healing and inner growth.
