Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Erin, nice to meet you. I am a licensed clinical professional counselor in Illinois with 16 years of counseling experience. I help clients with stress and anxiety, depression, relationship issues, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I work largely with young adults, including college students and athletes. I believe that you are the expert of your story. Every person is capable of discovering their strengths within that can empower them in overcoming life's challenges. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

My approach to therapy

I am very conversational in our sessions and want to make you feel comfortable. I utilize humor and always look for the strengths and potential in every individual. I appreciate and apply several therapeutic modalities in my practice, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT).

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be a welcoming, supportive space focused on getting to know one another and beginning to build a strong therapeutic relationship. During this session, we will talk about what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, personal history, strengths, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. Book with me through my calendar to schedule a session.
