Great to meet you!

I graduated with my Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) from Roosevelt University in 2023 and earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2018. Throughout my training and career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with individuals across a wide range of ages, cultural backgrounds, and presenting concerns. My experience spans private practice, outpatient care with veterans at the VA medical center, and long-term inpatient settings. Through this work, I’ve come to see therapy as an invaluable tool in helping us find relief from mental health challenges and move toward becoming the best version of ourselves.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy working with clients through an interpersonal, relational lens, and I believe the therapeutic relationship itself can be deeply healing. Together, we’ll build a space where you feel understood and supported. To guide our work, I incorporate elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy. Whether we’re navigating attachment and relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, or other concerns, we’ll work together to better understand your experiences and move toward a more fulfilling, satisfying life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll begin building a clearer understanding of who you are and what’s bringing you to therapy at this point in your life. We’ll explore the questions you may have about yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. If you’re not sure where to start, that’s completely okay. Together, we’ll identify short- and long-term goals so the process feels accessible, realistic, and ultimately, healing.
