Great to meet you!
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience. I’ve had the privilege of helping children (ages 3+), adults and families navigate life’s challenges and heal from trauma. My work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices that promote lasting change and resilience.
In therapy, I focus on creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. I specialize in trauma-informed care and draw from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Gottman Couples Therapy Level 1. My goal is to help clients strengthen their coping skills, rebuild trust, and rediscover hope. I specialize in working with ADD/ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, Anger, Chronic Health Issues, Marriage/Divorce/Blending Families, Parenting, Trauma, PTSD, and Stress.
In addition to providing counseling services, I have 10 years of experience providing supervision and mentorship to therapists and graduate interns, helping to shape the next generation of mental health professionals. Outside the clinic, I enjoy training and consulting with schools, law enforcement, and community organizations on topics related to trauma, child development, and mental health in educational settings.
I believe that healing happens in relationship—with ourselves, with others, and within supportive systems. Whether you’re seeking therapy for your child, your family, or yourself, I’m committed to meeting you where you are and walking with you toward growth and healing.
