Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Erin! The one thing I love about being a therapist is being able to help individuals break the cycles in their lives that cause them feelings of "being stuck." I utilize a mix of tools/ interventions from Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy that allow clients to explore unresolved issues, challenge their thoughts, and develop insight into barriers that can be blocking their growth. My main job as a therapist is to teach my clients how to regain control over their lives whether it's from anxiety, depression or stress; we will work together to come up with a therapeutic style that helps clients progress towards their goals.

My approach to therapy

n my practice, I focus on helping clients identify and challenge distorted thinking patterns that contribute to their emotional distress. Through structured sessions, I guide clients in developing practical skills, such as reframing negative thoughts and implementing coping strategies. I also encourage the use of exposure techniques to gradually confront fears in a safe and supportive environment, fostering resilience and promoting healthier thought patterns over time.

What you can expect from me

My goal after every session is to have clients feel like they have a space to express themselves in a way that doesn't make them feel judged; where they can be their authentic selves. Clients will be able to leave their sessions with interventions and tools they can apply to their day-to-day lives as an individual such as grounding techniques or positive self-talk or tools they can use with others that help with establishing boundaries and communication skills. Clients can also expect homework assignments if requested, that relate to problem areas in their lives. Therapy is different for each person and each person deserves to have a session that meets their needs.
