Great to meet you!

I earned my degree in Counseling Psychology from National University in 2013 and have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, gaining a well-rounded understanding of mental health care. For the past six years, I’ve supported children and families as a military counselor. My personal experience with postpartum depression and perinatal loss fuels my passion for helping others navigate similar journeys. I specialize in working with women and families during the perinatal and postpartum seasons, providing compassionate, trauma-informed support tailored to each unique experience.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy with a Humanistic-centered lens. This means you are the driver and navigator of your experiences, and I am merely your passenger. Through use of active listening, empathy, and unconditional positive regard, I will help you to navigate your journey and reach a place you're happy and proud to be!

What you can expect from me

As a humanistic-centered clinician, I strive to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where you can explore sensitive topics and delve into personal concerns without feeling threatened or vulnerable. I will help you to focus on identifying and building upon your strengths, resilience, and coping mechanisms rather than solely emphasizing difficulties or challenges.
