Great to meet you!

I have wide experience working with adult populations who live with mental health challenges. I practice with humility and non-judgment as an imperfect, life-learner who believes everyone has a story to share and the ability to change, shape and create positive outcomes. Trust and rapport are among the most important cornerstones of a good therapeutic match. Building this foundation is where we would start our work.

My approach to therapy

Human experiences are unique and many people who desire help want to challenge themselves but don't know where to start. I get it. Insight-oriented approaches drive me most. Motivational interviewing and narrative therapies match my strengths as a skilled interviewer and storyteller. I also appreciate what is clear, concise, and practical. Cognitive-behavioral and solutions-focused methods are often incorporated into my practice.

What you can expect from me

Hope is present in my work. I value the healing properties of creativity, self-expression, and laughter. My goal for clients is that they feel a greater sense of perspective in the moment and a clearer understanding about how our work together fits into their big picture, or plan, for wellness.
